Established in the year 2020, Nepal Hills Tea is a small business importing and supplying the highest grade of Nepalese tea in the Canadian Market. We focus on importing small-batch manufactured Tea (Black and Green Teas) which is sustainably produced, ethically sourced, and 3rd party Laboratory tested to ensure food safety as per Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) regulations.

Our Product is sourced from the Eastern Hills of Nepal (Illam District) where tea plantation started in the late 1990’s. In these rolling hills of Nepal, connoisseurs can find some of the world’s most flavorful teas. The conditions for the cultivation of tea are perfect. Tea bushes are planted at an altitude of approximately 3,500-7,500 feet above sea level. At that altitude, tea grows slower and has time to develop the full complexity of its taste. The air quality is exceptional and the southerly slopes where many tea gardens are located guarantee long hours of sun. Our small batch manufacturer grows tea in their own garden or sources the highest grade of hand-plucked tea leaves from the local farmers. These raw leaves then go through rigorous sorting, withering, rolling, fermentation (black tea), and drying process, maintaining proper time, temperature control. We package and label our tea at a Municipally regulated facility in Oakville, ON. By buying our product you are supporting multiple small businesses in Canada and farmers in Nepal.
